There is a huge gap between the expectation and reality of Foreign Domestic Worker industry. While every employer is on a constant look out to find the ideal helper for their home, helpers are also on a search for understanding employers. That leave agencies who are in a continuous struggle to provide a good match to both. An evident piece which is missed from this puzzle is the urgent need to train these Foreign Domestic Workers with the right attitude, knowledge and skill set to enable them to be better at their job. Having a domestic helper trained as per SLS standards, would reduce a substantial amount of grievances employers and employees may have on each other.
